Intro

The Schedule Module acts as the core of Profit Ops, and is the first page presented to users when they log in. This Module acts as the main point of contact for operations and field work by tracking and organizing the entire day's Work Orders.

Date Selector

The top of the Schedule page features the Date Selector, which is used to navigate through the different days on the schedule.

Day Selector

The current selected day is highlighted in yellow and can be changed by selecting the other available days from the current week.

Dates outside the current week can be chosen using the Week Selector, located below the Day Selector. Any date picked using this drop down will be reflected on Day Selector above.

Work Orders

The Schedule page organizes Work Orders into colored containers that represent work scheduled for the current day. These containers hold information on the Project, Leadership, Status, Service, and Scheduled day.

Access & Visibility Restriction

Users can only clock-in to work orders that they have been scheduled on or have permission to view. Other work orders do not appear, or won’t have the option to clock in.

Additional details about these containers are documented here.

Assigned WO

The Assigned WO section shows all Work Orders that a user has been assigned for the given day, from which users can select and clock in. These Work Orders remain in the assigned section for the entire day, or until they have been completed.

Pre-Cleaning For Next Day Work Orders

It is possible to clock into assigned work orders one day in advance for Pre-cleaning operations. This should only be done under direction from a Foreman or Super.

WO Checkout

Foreman & Super Permission

This container will be blank to users that do not have Foreman or Superintendent permission.

Users with Foreman or Superintendent roles can use the WO Checkout section. This list acts as an audit log that will show all pending Work Orders. Any record appearing in the section has outstanding requirements that need attention before the end of a workday.

Any user with access to this section can view and clock into all Work Orders displayed, allowing any Superintendent to follow up on Work Orders that have not been completed. Once all checkout requirements are met, these records will pass automatically to the Completed WO's section.

Completed WO’s

Restricted View

This container will be blank to users that do not have the correct permissions. Contact a system administrator if there is an issue accessing this section.

The Completed WO section only shows Work Orders that have been completed for the current day. No further action is required on these Work Orders unless a correction is needed.

A Superintendent can view these Work Orders but must reopen them before they can be modified. Once a project manager completes their review, these work orders are locked in, and no further edits are permitted.

Cleaning

The Cleaning section is visible to all users and shows active cleaning Work Orders for the current day. These utility Work Orders are created as needed, and act as a container for cleanup operations after a surface treatment has been completed.

Cones & Carpet

The Cones & Carpet section houses utility Work Orders that are created automatically when a surface treatment Work Order is scheduled. Available the day after a scheduled treatment, these Work Orders are used for the collection of traffic cones and protective carpet from the previous day.

All users scheduled for the current day have access to these Work Orders and can log time to them as directed by a Foreman or Superintendent. If you are instructed to perform a Same Day Open do not use the Cones & Carpet section, clock into the Surface Treatment work order used for that that day’s work.
