Intro
ProfitOps v2.1 maintains much of the usefulness of the 1.0 version, with a few powerful new tools for Foreman and Superintendent to take advantage of.
This Quick Start overview is focused on the new tools and functions derived from the whole of ProfitOps documentation. For more details on the topics summarized here, see their full documentation articles liked at the bottom of this page and within their respective sections.
Manual Clock Overrides
In the 1.0 system, Labor Records could only be changed at the administrator level. This placed a lot of stress on those with authority to make these changes, and often caused bottlenecks.
Foreman and Superintendents can now manually edit the times of their working crew, without the need for a Project Manager or Administrator to intervene.
Modify A Record
Select a Labor Record on the labor tab and choose "Edit" to modify an existing record. This will open the "Add Entry" menu.
Be Aware
Once a labor entry is created, it cannot be deleted by the user.
Manual Clock In
The "Corrected In" field must be provided but can be updated / edited to fix mistakes.
Manual Clock Out
If the In and Out fields are both provided, then a complete Time Entry will be created and attached to the Labor Record. This will clock the related user out.

Create A New Record
Select the three-dot menu located at the far right of a Labor Record.

Select the "Add Time Entry" option to open the "Add Entry" menu.
Manual Clock In
If the "Corrected In" field is provided, and the "Corrected Out" field is left blank, then the related user will be clocked in.
Manual Clock Out
If the "Corrected In" and "Corrected Out" fields are both provided, then a completed Time Entry will be created and attached to the Labor Record without affecting that user's current clock status.
Reason Required
A reason is always required to add or edit a labor record, changes cannot be saved without adding a note.
